9-5-2022—Technology plays an important role in all of the operations at Maromix and in its efforts to continually improve and incorporate the latest technologies in all fields. In that connection, Maromix hosted one week of training sessions for its production engineers.
The training sessions were led by Mr. Jérôme Miranda, a systems and software expert in the field of engineering, designing, and producing furniture, woodworking, cabinets, and kitchens. During these training sessions Maromix engineers had the opportunity to learn advanced techniques in utilizing the existing systems building upon years of experience. The advanced training was necessary to further optimize existing production lines as well as integrate with the newly purchased machines from the second production line. Maromix engineers were also trained on how to create more detailed “Bill of Quantity” for any project, produce advanced Shop Drawings and generate more accurate cost reports.
The training sessions also focused on several methods to increase production efficiency which will enable faster project execution. In addition to training, Maromix design production systems and softwares were upgraded to the 2022 versions which contain the latest features improving efficiency in both material use and production times.
It is noteworthy that Maromix not only utilizes these systems and software to save on costs, a benefit which is automatically transferred to all Maromix customers, but also to reduce material waste directly reducing the impact on the global environment.
